Symphony Beauty | Makeup cleansing wipes

Hello my Beauties!

Today I will be reviewing , Symphony Beautys’ makeup cleansing wipes.  I received it in my August, Ipsy Glam Bag.

The wipes comes in a pista green packet and I have 10 wipes in this pack. This typically retails for $2/- (USD).

Approximately Rs.134/- only. This is a full size, pack.

The website states: “Moisturise- Restores skin with soothing extracts and long-lasting moisture. Refresh- Revives dull, tired skin for a smoother, more radiant look. Rejuvenate- Nourishes skin for a more youthful, healthy-looking complexion.”

I have gone through 9 of them and kept the last one for this review. I use these to remove a full face of make up.

And by that I mean, foundation/BB cream, concealer, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, and lipstick. While it does quite a good job on the rest of the face, the eye make up doesn’t budge as much.

The pack claims that it moisturizes, cleanses and brightens, While I agree with the moisturizing and cleansing bit I haven’t really noticed its brightening properties.

Normally as you wipe off makeup with wipes  the skin tends to dry up and get flaky and itchy. That might be attributed to the presence of alcohol.

These wipes are alcohol free. So that problem is solved.

It contains:

  • Cucumber: Improves complexion and rejuvenates the skin. A mix of cucumber juice and a few drops of lemon juice applied as a face mask usually leave the skin glowing.
  • Aloe Vera: Helps in cleansing, moisturizing, refreshing and rejuvenating all types of skin – whether dry, oily, normal or sensitive.
  • Arbutin: The skin brightener you never heard of! Arbutin is a molecule extracted from the bearberry plant that prevents the formation of melanin.

These wipes are recommended for all skin types. I have oily skin and I can easily say that it worked great on my skin.

The product is paraben and sulphate free. These wipes restores the skin with soothing extracts and long lasting moisture.

How to use Symphony Beauty Wipes:

  1. Gently massage the wipe over face and neck until impurities are removed.
  2. No rinsing is necessary.
  3. Reseal pack after use to preserve moisture in the wipes.

First things first its got an amazing fragrance. The wipes are luxuriously soft and and  gently sweep away make up, oil and impurities.

The pack states “Along with nourishing natural extracts, each wipe is infused with a concentrated brightening complex arbutin, designed to impart a radiant, youthful glow. Symphony Beauty make up cleansing wipes are safe and effective for all.”

My skin felt perfectly clean and and refreshed in a single, easy step. After I finished with the face and neck, I washed my face with Cetaphil face cleanser to get rid off whatever eye make up the wipe didn’t get.

All in all this make up wipe is great for removing light make up or refreshing your face after a long day. As an additional benefit I felt that these wipes unclog your pores.

Which is great for oily skin! The packs themselves are available in packs of 10, 30 and 60.

Some useful information I found about the Symphony Beauty wipes on the Ipsy Glam Bag wipes, ” Symphony Beauty Box brings together cutting-edge Korean innovations with luxurious formulas and natural botanicals in perfect balance. Fast-acting solutions for all skin types, designed to max out on skincare benefits and clinically proven to work.”

So that’s it from me. Thank you for reading.
